Building a Testing Database with Claude
Today I built a database over the results of my ad testing on Facebook. I had Claude take data from four different Excel sheets with metrics from Facebook Ad Manager and compile it into a Notion database. Now it's possible to see the development of specific items through four testing phases -- where some items are brand new, some have been tested several times, and some haven't been tested yet. Over 200 different items total.
I'm deliberately not mentioning specific details here; that will come at a later stage. This is one of the many fun projects I've been working on over the last six months.
With Claude and the opportunity to work with data, we first built a table in ClickUp. There's a limitation on how many custom fields you can create on a free tier, so I went back and had Claude move everything over to Notion, where we're building it now.
This is just a brand new way of working with data. The only thing I'm doing is talking to Claude. I love this. It's so much fun.
On the backend of this, Claude and I will be able to update the database every week with new testing results, and we can automate it, so it runs on clockwork timed with the ad runs. It will be much easier to see trends going across all the data sets. Mind-blowingly easy to set up. The value is enormous, especially later in the business when I have a lot more items. This gives me the opportunity to keep that bird's eye view as I get more metrics and ROAS data.
Just amazing.
